My neighbor had one of those W220 Mercedes that he bought for around $7, 000. He must have had that thing at least 10 years. Granted half the stuff on the car didn’t work, he told me as long as it started and drove, that’s all that mattered. I remember a few days seeing him drive off scraping the ground because the air suspension was out 😂

I wish this video was made a year ago. I bought a 1999 Infiniti i30, looked great, no rust, no engine lights or anything. Ran good for about 2 weeks, needed to replace the alternator, then the battery, then the engine light came on for ignition coils. I replaced the ignition coils, and they still weren’t getting any power. The car would shut off while I was driving. I paid 1100 for it, put 2000 dollars into it, and ended up selling for 400 dollars. Lesson learned on that car. He’s absolutely right about Infiniti. Next car I’ll buy will be a Lexus

I bought a 1998 BMW 740il 4 years ago. Only had 88k miles looked flawless. I spent 5 grand on it drove it 6k miles and ended up needing 7 grand worth of work. NEVER

I drove my W220 S500 for almost 6 years bought it when it was 5 years old. never ever i had problems and i drove with it about 280.000 km. When you buy a second hands mercedes audi bmw for 7000 dollar or euro than you know something can be wrong for such a low price
We in europe say "cheap is expensive", so pay 8000 more and you have a good one

Yep, bought a brand new Jaguar X type many years ago and paid 30k for it. It had 20 miles on it and still had the plastic on the seats when it arrived..I kept it for 3 years, and over that time I spent 26, 000.00 in repairs..And sold it for 3500..When I would pull into my mechanic he would always be on the phone smiling and laughing. I think because he had just called his wife and was telling her that I just drove in again with smoke coming out from under the hood and for her to go ahead and book the Hawaiian vacation.
