I am an advocate of buying cheap and used luxury cars, but it can be a dangerous game. While lots of new luxury cars can depreciate by 40-50% quickly, the right cheap used luxury car is going to fit the bill too. However, that's only the case when you buy the right one!

So should you buy a used car? Or even more to the point, should you buy a used and cheap luxury car? Find out today how to handle this.

The only luxury I like in cars is not seeing the dealer. 😂

The cheap used luxurious vehicles that are reliable will be the 2003 to 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 sedan, 2001 to 2003 BMW 530i sedan and the 2009 or 2010 Volvo S40 2.4i sedan. These are one of the vehicles that I will purchase eventually. Thanks.

I have never worked on a German Luxury Car but I am excited to learn. I'm an old country boy, I can fix 70% of everything that needs maintained or fixed. Put 'er up on the rack and get the tools movin! If I can't fix it no big deal, take it to my indy, they charge about 40% less than the dealership and do quality work.

This was one of your best ever productions. Based on your own experience, it turns out that a lot of us have the same experience. Buyers just have to study the car completely before buying it and keep a reserve maintenance fund for backup.

I love Lexus. But God they will put your ass to sleep behind the wheel. I prefer bmw but I'd never consider a cheap luxury car. It always leads to endless headaches unfortunately 😪

If I’m buying a used or new luxury vehicle, I’m only going Lexus. My wife and I have owned 3 in our lifetime, and each one has been rock solid reliable. Even the upkeep maintenance is very affordable.

True, you got to have some extra money lying around for any kind of emergency. Hard enough to shell out your hard earned cash for any kind of emergency, but an extra hardship doesn't sound practical. Especially when you live from paycheck to paycheck. Above all else, one definitely has to have an affordable and reliable low cost vehicle to earn that pitiful paycheck.

I own a c300 and got it for a song. I agree that you should only dabble in used luxury if 1. You can turn your own wrenches or 2. Have some money to throw at repairs. Also, buying the right car is key.

Some years ago, I was looking for a car and decided why not buy a used Cadillac at a huge discount and enjoy the luxury for once. In shopping around, I noticed a big difference between dealer prices and private party prices. When I asked a dealer about this, he warned me I should only buy from him because only his mechanics could fix all the mechanical failures I would experience. When he was done predicting all the doom and gloom, I thanked him for convincing me to never buy a Cadillac! Ha!

People buy cars for different reasons than dependability. I drove Toyotas for a couple decades, and once I test drove a X3 and my jaw dropped. I'm too old not to just have fun with cars as me and the IC engines won't be around much longer. I have 2 BMWs, an Audi and a Lexus. All together they haven't costed me, maintenance and all, as much as one new Grand Wagoneer. But, I would NEVER buy a used luxury car without an extended warranty.

I love the old Audi R8 and Acura NSX exotics but prices have gone way up on used ones!

I bought a 2015 Lexus is in 2018 for 21000 Dollars with 17900 miles. I drove that thing about 90000 miles ovee 6 years with 0 issues. Lexus is a great option depending on what you want. Rich people do 3 year leases and don't drive their cars.

I wish I had adopted this philosophy earlier in my life. But I guess it enabled me to learn to hate noisy, bumpy, smelly, crappy rides. Always entertained by these vids!

I bought a used Cadillac and I'm loving it so far tbh. As soon as I bought it, I scheduled an appointment at the dealership to have all of the essential fluids changed.

It's really not that much more than my 07 eclipse I had. The fluids to get changed at the mitsubishi dealership was really almost the same price.

The only thing about luxury cars is that the insurance is more expensive than an average car. (From my experience)

Hey man, i like your channel and you give great advices!
Recently bought a 10 years old bmw f30, for 1/4 of the original price, well kept and mantained, the deal was mindblowing, for the price of a new fiat panda, i have got a luxury sedan.
Have a nice day!
