Instead of splurging on a luxury car this year, consider investing in alternative assets. With the green season bull run, there are smarter ways to grow your money. Investing now can yield far better returns in the long run.

For people aspiring to buy a luxury car in India just know that over half of the costs are taxes by the Central Government. Build a business and own the car in that business name and buy a new luxury car and depreciate it in the first 4 years and save your taxes 😊

With India’s 200% tax on CBU models, and ridiculous GST and RTO charges on top, these luxuries cost 2 to 3 times more in India than anywhere else in the world barring a few countries.

Basically the first couple bought a liability by taking a huge loan and and again invest around 3 lakhs on yearly basis just to maintain the luxury status ! great 👍

Love this! I used to drive with my Spouse. I miss it as we started to invest in Stock to secure the future of our kids. I got my invested stock capital from truck driving. My main purpose of stopping was because we now have kids and also we have been able to meet our financial goals with the help of a CFA. Stay safe and keep on trucking

Clearly the couple knows nothing beyond aesthetics to look for while buying a car 😅

I'll tell you the real reason why this real estate guy purchases pre-owned luxury car because of black money. When you buy a new car no brand showroom will take majority of cash. They only take cheque or online payments but black money owned folks don't have much money in their banks so they mostly put money in things where cash is the mode of transaction be it real estate, gold or in this case pre-owned cars.

Overall what I have understood is "safed haathi" terminology gets more and more true as the video progresses towards the end.

Ideally if you earn 20 lakhs per yr...U cannot afford a car more than 15 lakhs (if unmarried)
10 lakhs (married)
Its not at all worth to spend more than this limit for a depreciating asset...

You will get some attention if u r driving a 2023 Mercedes....but no one will give a damn if ur driving a 2015 model..
