This pregnancy meditation for anxiety is part of my new series Yoga for Pregnancy Anxiety.

In this guided meditation we will visualise your baby to help you connect in with them which can be difficult when you're experiencing anxiety around your pregnancy.

Whether you've lost a baby (or babies) previously, have undergone IVF to get pregnant, or whether it's just been a really long hard road to get here, I think you'll enjoy this meditation.

It includes all of the tools and practices I used after three losses to not just manage my anxiety but to also enjoy my pregnancy. I'd love to help you do that as well.

You’re not going to believe this, but during the part i was focussing on the womb and breathing loving light into it, i felt the baby kick for the first time.. very soft cute ‘plops’ on the same spot. Happy tears over here! Thank you so much for this meditation, i will come back to it often!

Bettina, thank you so much for this meditation. I spent the last 3 weeks of my first trimester horribly anxious and riddled with anxiety. The rest of first trimester was excitement and anxiousness. When I listened to your story about how you wish you could go back and enjoy those 10 weeks because that's what you got with those babies, that resonated with me on a level which brought forth a very much needed cathartic release. I have felt so much better since doing that meditation and I've repeated it a couple of times. Thank you so much! I'm at 14 weeks right now and feel better mentally and emotionally than I have in weeks. I've recommended your channel to other friends who would benefit from hearing your story. Blessings!

Thank you so very much for this. I'm at six weeks and feeling so grateful, the sparkle returned after a week of being busy and disconnected, anxious and on a rollercoaster. It reminds me that yes - to connect and visualise, to caress and soothe together now is right for me, is what I feel to do naturally. I can then see more clearly the parts of me that want to disconnect, that stay arms length away in fear. Feeling love for those parts too. What a beautiful offering you bring. I am grateful and hoping Spring is blooming for you, where you are. ❤

I am so grateful to have found this, this is my first pregnancy I am 14 weeks and 3 days.

I feel as though I am holding my breath. Every blood test I get bad news. First my thyroid now I am high risk for developing preeclampsia. I am worried everyday.

I also had a bleed in the first trimester.

I love this meditation the most. The nature background music gently lead me to the calming space that I need. I’ve practiced this meditation from when I know the good news until now when I’m currently 35 weeks.

This was such a beautiful practice I cried when I was able to visualize my baby. Currently really early, 4 weeks pregnant and have been anxious for many reasons. I practiced the tww videos and now have transitioned to your pregnancy ones. Thank you so much for helping bring peace to myself.

Hi Bettina 👋 Thankyou for this mediation and sharing. I am week 9 of a first pregnancy after trying for two years and totally related to all you have said re feeling disconnected and protected in case things don’t work out. Being a bit ‘hard’. This mediation really helped me reconnect with this little being inside.., the softening, the sharing. And to be less fearful of what is to come. What ever happens. Thank you 🙏

Dear Bettina...thanks so much for this meditation. I just found out I am pregnant and it took so long to get here that I am just afraid that someone will snatch it away from me....but I do believe in connecting with our babies even before the are born like you said. Thanks for reminding me that I should be joyful for the moments that I do have with him/her/them (which I hope will be a lifetime) You have helped me so much throughout my conceiving journey and now, hopefully, throughout my pregnancy <3 Namaste!

I am so grateful to have found this guided meditation. It has helped me greatly! Thank you so much. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with baby number 4(5th pregnancy). My second pregnancy ended up with a silent miscarriage after the dating scan at 12 weeks, but my body did not recognize what is going on, so we found out when I was 16 weeks, on a regular check up, it was shock and it was extremely painful. Since then, during my pregnancies, for the first 4 months, I have been extremely anxious to the point where i wouldn't be able to sleep, and I would be throwing up from my emotions. So, I havebeen feeling slightly better this time, but the thought is always in the back of my head. I am new to meditation in general, but found this extremely helpful and will listen to it regularly. Thank you once more! God bless! xxx

Thank you so much for this meditation! I am in my first trimester nearing to the second in a few days and my anxiety had just kicked in, this has calmed me right down and I can’t wait to watch many more of your videos! Your voice is so soothing and your energy is wonderful 🥰🙏

Thank you so much, I really need this at the moment, I had a miss miscarriage late last year, didn’t know for 5 weeks I had lost the baby, I’m now 6 weeks and have started to get pains on the right hand side... I have a scan in 2 days but my usual positivity has started to decline... need to keep remembering it isn’t last year. Please pray everything will be okay for my little one. xx

I am so deeply grateful for your videos, I’ve been practicing with you after my first early loss and through the second and now into early pregnancy. This is so helpful in calming my nerves and recentering to a positive place.


I listened to this video every day while ttc and sometimes I think it’s the only thing that got me through. So grateful for you, thank you.
