I tried it before in 3mos i've lost 14kgs. 20000 steps is equal to 3hrs and 15 mins of walking. Plus eating healthy foods. No junkfoods, softdrinks and juices. Drink a lot of water.

I increased my walking about a year ago when I found out I had osteoporosis. I knew I needed to do more weight-bearing exercises, so I increased my walking. Within a very short time I no longer had calf cramps at night and I was sleeping better. & Ive lost 15#!

Im 55. I try to do six thousand steps every day. Within that I try to make two of them ten thousand steps a week. Every so often I try to do a fifteen- twenty thousand steps walk. The key for me is exercising on a regular basis.

20000 steps is overkill for weight loss. You only need to walk a half hour a day (optimally 1 hour). Not a broken up half hour. 1 session walking briskly enough to get your heart going.

For me I can complete 20k steps by waking an hour in the morning so that’s about 6k steps and then throughout the day I would walk 10 minutes every hour and without even realizing I would reach my goal :)
