Can't believe no one has mentioned pineapple. Although it contains no protein, it does contain an enzyme called Bromelain which significantly increases protein absorption. Plus the natural sugars (simple carbs) make this one of the best post workout snacks to go with your protein shake.

Great list! I recently got back into fitness, eating healthy and doing some research into it now. A lot of YouTube videos I came across have so much padding/filler content in them to get the video to surpass the 10 minute mark for the ad revenue and here you are just giving it straight and keeping it real.
