Social media "influencers" have poisoned the brains and skewed the expectations of people in regards how slow and gradual muscle building is. It will take you at least 2-3 years of consistent training to see noticeable difference. People give up after few months when they don't see results. Thank you Sean for reality check.

To be fair, this advice applies to anything of substance worth doing, not just building muscle.

Sean’s comments are always straight to the point. I’ve followed his advice since I started lifting again at 50 years old for 3 years. Everything from the technique of lifting, organizing work outs, nutrition, and down to tracking my reps for each exercise. The bottom line is as Sean said you will see the gains in incremental reps and weight. If I had this information 25 years ago it would change the way I live. Sean is the only person giving weight training advice that points out his mistakes, explains why, and what to avoid. Sean is about humility, honesty, and the truth. So true!. I started last in a year ago. I took nutrition and sleep and work out seriously. I have gang significant amount of strength and muscle that people in the gym notice and now they call me the beast
