The way I think of it is the temperature therapies reduce pain and stress to help you move/exercise better to recover better

I fell and injured my knee. It is numb and tender to the touch. I inured it on Sept 9th. It is now Sept 29th and it is much better but still a little numb. I do red light therapy at night and just started dry brushing. I an hoping it will heal on its own. I don't gave a Dr appointment until Oct 22nd.

I recently pinched a nerve in my back due to some long term faulty body mechanics… it started feeling better so I did an extremely light leg workout at the gym and felt what seems like patellar tendonopathy right afterward on both knees. The pinched nerve seemed to make my knees weaker and reduce circulation to the legs and feet but it could just be a coincidence that I got injured at that time. I had just been laid up for a week but was still managing daily treadmill walks. Now my knees are messed up for what seems to be no reason…. The universe wants me to learn about the body I guess. Anyway it hurts my knees and shins so bad to walk on a hard surface or even in shoes, but I went outside and stood in the grass barefoot for two hours and my circulation seemed to return to normal and helped reduce some pain.

How much does it help or hinder accompanying the exercise to an injury to assist blood flow and recovery do analgesics like paracetamol and or ibuprofen? After my exercise the pain can be distracting possible ameliorated by anti-inflammatories.

Thank you! I have a 10 month old broken humerus, that isn’t healing because of lack of blood flow; however, my doctor does NOT want me to use it unless I’m eating, dressing, or bathing. I’m scheduled for another MRI and a CT scan soon, but it hurts like heck!
Here’s the problem; I have a Lyme counfection that restricts blood flow, called Babesia. I’m wondering if ozone therapy or red light therapy would help. I’m taking iron supplements, from my Lyme doctor.
This is driving me crazy!!!

Looks like more exercises in total can allow more blood to heal the injury? Rather than less volume with strength goals, look for more volume without totally fatiguing the muscle?
