Tingling or cold feet or hands, bluish skin, and cuts or wounds that take a long time to heal are all indicative of circulatory problems. If you suffer from any of these symptoms, there are steps you can take to improve your circulation.

Step 1: Exercise
Get some exercise. If you have a desk job, stand up once an hour and do some jumping jacks or knee bends. While you're sitting, tap your legs with your hands. Try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise a day.

Tip
Prop your feet up while you sit. Lean back and put your feet up on your desk for short periods of time throughout the day.

Step 2: Drink right
Drink lots of water -- room temperature, not iced. Water improves circulation. Cut sugary sodas and and alcohol out of your diet and replace them with water.

Step 3: Eat right
Eat lots of fruit, vegetables, and whole grains. Cut saturated fats from your diet and eat moderate amounts of unsaturated fats. Limit your sugar and salt intake. Poor dietary habits can affect your blood flow.

Step 4: Don't smoke
Don't smoke. If you're a smoker, quit. Nicotine use is known to cause circulation problems.

Step 5: Take warm baths
Take warm baths. Soaking your body -- especially your feet -- in warm water can significantly increase your circulation.

Step 6: Reduce stress
Lower your stress. Find relaxing activities or hobbies. Cumulative stress can have an adverse effect on your blood circulation.

Tip
Enroll in a yoga class to relax and to exercise.

Step 7: See a doctor
See a doctor if your circulation problem persists. Ask about supplements, such as vitamins, calcium, magnesium, and omega 3 fish oil. Correct the problem naturally with herbs or other remedies. Poor circulation can contribute to the formation of a number of serious conditions, including diabetes and high blood pressure.

Bone marrow produces about 95 percent of the body's blood cells.

I have carpel tunnel in both hands due to several years of reinforcing iron work, they mention a few supplements, but can anyone attest to which ones are the most effective? I would appreciate a reply!
