In this video I go through 10 things you should not say to an INFP if you don't want them to be angry or sad. It's a funny video so don't take it too seriously.
Enjoy!

It's just meant to be a funny INFP video

Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an introspective self-report questionnaire indicating differing psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. The test attempts to assign four categories: introversion or extraversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, judging or perceiving. One letter from each category is taken to produce a four-letter test result, like INTP or INFP

Never say to an INFP: "You just don't get me." Oh, I get you. I just don't like you.

I don’t mind when people insult me directly but when someone insults a song/film/painting etc. that I hold close to my heart, it’s like they are ripping out my heart and stomping on it

I just HATE when I listen to everyone and when I want to talk, nobody even cares about listening to me, most people just cut me off in mid-speaking, almost all the time actually. So I guess I got used to this.
And this also applies for venting. I don't usually vent cuz I dont like to open up to people, maybe because it's hard for me to simplify my feelings, so it's hard for people to understand deeply what I am really feeling and help me with that.

Edit: just some gramatical corrections, I’m not a native speaker

Stabbing with the word Ok is so accurate xD
Us INFPs get hurt so easily lol, we expected a great appreciation for what we did because we feel like we did good and want to hear that from others to confirm and be heppy

#1. as an INFP myself, I can confirm that these points are all 100% true.
#2. Holy CRAP, you have a great sense of humor and I haven't laughed like that in SO long!

One of my least favorite things said to me is, "You've grown quiet."

It fills me with an indescribable rage for some reason. It might be a simple observation for some, but it's a confrontation to my existence by stating my hand, expecting me to apologize and or 'correct' the silence is agony. If you want to get an infp to talk, ask them anything else besides telling them they are suddenly silent as if pointing it out makes them want to suddenly talk, after the already rare occasion they've talked before.

Ex boyfirends' last words "it's just art" "it's just music" "it's just God" "it's just family" etc etc....

I(INTP) have an INFP girlfriend and this is spot on, happy I'm not guilty of doing none of them, maybe just the last one.

I'm an infp, and it's very true I can never settle on hobbies. I'm constantly looking at self improvement and can go off at people on various subjects surrounding my latest interest whatever that is.. and it's usually an obscure life improvement practice, or some idea about the direction of society. But contrary to the vid, I love clubbing (or should say 'loved' because i'm now 40 with kids). The best years of my life were spent in dance music clubs, festivals and gigs because I love the music and I love to people watch, even though i'm useless at social interaction in group scenarios. Although, I hate mainstream clubs that plays chart pop as those places are completely different. It's very true we are easily impressionable and I wished i'd realised sooner so I would have known to follow my own intuition. Better late than never though, so focusing on creative endeavors from here on out. I've got nowhere trying to fit in to society. wasted years due to thinking my own interests had no value. To any young INFP - Don't put your creativity on the backburner. Don't try and fit in. Follow you intuition and make your own decisions about your life, regardless of what others think about those decisions. Don't doubt yourself. Follow your intuition.

5 is true. There's no point making something if it's just okay. Because the whole world is full of things that are just okay. Going for a walk, having a snack, taking a dump etc... So if it's okay then it obviously hasn't been uplifting so my work is a failure.

Ok I'm glad you included "if it's bad, just say it's bad."
I don't mind criticism, but I do mind a soulless answer like "it's okay" or "it's good". I spent a lot of time and effort on making something, at least spend a few moments of your day to really take a look at what I made. If you say you don't like it, at least you're acknowledging my effort, even if it amounted to something stupid, because you took a moment to look at it and form an opinion of it. "It's okay" and nothing more is something you only say if you don't care but you don't want to hurt my feelings by dismissing it without a word. Well guess what, sport? THAT HURTS MY FEELINGS ANYWAY.

My ex husband venomously asked me "why does everything have to be new for you?" The 20+ year marriage was instantly over as at that moment I realised he hated the thing that is fundamentally the core of my being!!

I wrote a short story once, and dedicated it to two people who were very influential in my life. They didn't have the reaction I was hoping for. It crushed me. But at least my Uncle thought it was really good. I got so mad with the rest of them, though, I wrote a whole 7+ page rant about how angry and hurt I was.

my sister and I did the mbti test a few months ago and we found out we were both infp. no wonder both of us clicked so well. mind you our age gap is 7 years. i have an older sister who's 3 yrs older than me and i thought she would understand me better but nooo.. my 13 yr old sister understand me much better. fun thing is we would always do this mistake by having conversation before bedtime and it would last till morning. so we made this unspoken rule to never go into deep topics before bedtime
