Out of all the content I've made on Mother Hecate, I feel like this one is the most needed. Especially for beginners.

Connecting with her isn't as scary or as hard as some people make it out to be.

Yes!! I always get positive reactions with rose wine too, also She loves a plate of cheese, meats and bread (I got a very positive reaction with spicy meats, salami and chorizo!) But see I've never had problems with white candles, I do carve them with her wheel and infill it with black though! As always love the vid xxx

Great video, Sarah, imo it doesn't matter how long someone has been devoted to Hekate or any of the gods/goddesses.
It's always good to be reminded of the basics and have a refresher, lest we forget our etiquette.

It really hit me only last night that Hekate is who Ive been drawn to this whole time, so I had a really lovely bath with candles. I burned white, black, red, green, silver, and gold. The black, green, and red melted in super bizarre configurations (black looked like a shadow crawling, green melted like a fancy candlestick holder, and red looked like a lobster. Gold and silver melted normally but quickly. The white was the only one that burned slowly, barely halfway done after the others had burned out. So bizarre

That explains why the white tealite candle would always, ALWAYS go out immediately! 🤦‍♀️ what was I thinking?

I'm so confused 🤭Hecate seems to have called upon me, which I'm fine with, it makes sense given my circumstance... But I don't want to call upon her for anything, I think we're in the "getting to know u" stage. As my understanding of my nature grows, Hecate seems to have come to watch me work.

For me shi really is not an antropomorphic figure but always comes as either a black veil, a clocked figure with no face or a porcupine-spider lady. I ve also had a "physical apparition" (it was night and dark) and I called Borborophorba and she came as a white ish crawling on the ground figure. But I was never scared of her

The first time I ligthed a candle for her as an offering I didn't know well which color should I use and didn't have any special candle so I just grabbed a regual one I wrote her name and drew her symbol on the candle and it lighted with no problems. Also the flame was absolutely steady and really long. At least in my personal experience she accepted that average almost white candle.

I'm still on my scared era😂 I've been drawn to her for years but just last week I began working with her

Hi I'm newer toy craft and from the very first time I saw Hecates name I felt drawn to it. I didn't know who she was at first, but the more I learned the more I felt connected. I've been thru so much in my life always felt like an outsider and I was bullied and hurt Alot and she stands as a symbol of a protector who loves you for you and not who the world tells you to be. Dear Sarah❤, thank you for this very helpful video🙏🏻! I'm about to buy a Hekate statue and planning an altar for Her. Artemis was my very first Goddess I've worked many years ago and I still admire and love Her. I am reading the book "Hekate. Goddess of Witches" by Courtney Weber right now and she writes that the ancient greece had a big festival for both, Hekate and Artemis in April/ May as they viewed the Great Goddess in the light side of Artemis and the dark side in Hekate. I find that very interesting because it feels like they could be sisters! I think I will place both altars- Hekate's and Artemis'- next to each other❤❤.

I really appreciated this video. As someone who talks to the creator praying a good bit I asked if I should work with a deity and I was told to journal literally everything and I should write to her. I asked if she would work with me and I kept hearing try it and see. Since working with her she has been kind about not sending me anything scary in my dreams only fairy messages and she pushed me to therapy. I genuinely appreciate her presence. And she seems to like oranges lol

thank you for sharing. i love your videos and how real you are. iv just began my journey very recent but i love researching about her. i feel so strongly for her and its only been a short amount of time. she chose me and the moment i knew that and even in the reading i could feel her. i felt her and the energy for a very long time that night and into the next day. i ended up making the same mistake of using a white candle. i wanted to be able to connect with her but then out of nowhere i couldn't find any lighters and had to search so hard for it. i definitely see now that i should've taken the sign so you're not alone😹
