I am one of those who set the altar and prayed to Hekate with no certain intention. I was in strange, difficult situations all the time, but in the end it always was about me breaking old harmful patterns that poisoned my life. I even stopped worshiping Her, as I thought that maybe it all was a sign for me to go to other deities and stop bothering Hekate. But now I understand, I see that it is just the way She teaches you swim: by putting you in the middle of a lake.

Came back to comment Santa Muerte has been my “motherly dark feminine” spirit that does what Hecate does for other initiates. It definitely has to do with culture for me as I am Mexican and Santa Muertes origins are Mexican. She awakened me to the occult.
It’s true what you said about need in a dark feminine spirit, without Santa Muerte I wouldn’t have made it.
As I feel I am deep in the abyss I now have made contact with Lilith, now Hecate and it’s just perfect in timing! These dark feminine spirits are so chaotic, destructive and amazing in reconstructing you! 🖤 I’m starting to love the process 😈

Well i dont normally do this but here is my story still to be defined. When I was a kid I always felt presence of things but I was raised in the most ultra conservative Catholic, so my answer when I was afraid was praying and praying thought I felt it constantly. One day I got so scared because I called spirits (never ever did it again …) and the whole power went out in that moment. I also always felt when something bad was going to happened to someone or guessing stuff out of the blue. I went into a very very lógica carrer path so whenever this stuff happened and I was scared I prayed. Well life had its turns and a lot of things happened. One of my hobbies started to be studying my genealogy, my ancestors, childhood traumas, death, terrible things that were hidden in my family. I got to understand that everyone is light and dark is the choices that you make in your life that will define the type of person you are. After this I started studying astrology trying to find an explanation. Well I couple of months I started seeing in my mind this image of the woman in dark clothes, with a spade/knife, in the dark woods/caves with a torch. Then later all of a sudden I received a download out of the blue it was this women fighting and said do you think I am scared I am Hekate, I was who the heck is this person?. I started investigating who she is and I think or I sense that I my past life I was involve with the occult. So I am going to do a past life regression and see if I can understand? To be continued
