Today's video is all about my experiences working with and worshipping the goddess Hekate - how my path with her started, how working with her has affected my life and spiritual practice, how I see and perceive her, and more.

I've always found her energy as intense and intimidating but loving and healing at the same time. The very first time i made her altar, i cried. She gave me healing because she knew i needed it. She is stern, she lets me know when i am getting off track.

The stern, commanding, elegant, subtly kind energy is what I get from her too. I’m a baby witch and right off the bat I wanted to work with Hekate. She said “not yet”, which I respect because there’s a lot I need to learn before I can begin to understand what she wants to teach me.

I think like all good mothers she mothers each child differently. Some people need a stern hand, some need a kind loving one. I have felt her energy like something of a mama bear. That she’s loving when needed and firm when needed and she will fuck you up if you hurt one of her kids. That’s the sense I’ve been getting in my short time working with her.

I get such an regal and elegant energy with Hecate, but whenever I’m in her presence or channeling her, she’s always so welcoming, its like she’s letting me know I belong with her. She can be stern with me if she has to be, especially if I don’t pay attention or if I’m in the wrong about something. She teaches me to learn from my mistakes and grow from them. For me, she’s like a mentor and a parental figure. She acknowledges me as one of her Daughters. I do get a motherly energy from Hecate but I agree she doesn’t coddle, if I mess up, I know I’m for a stern talking too. But if someone messes with me, that’s a different story completely. She’s a great protector. I really love her. 🖤

My Lady was in the hospital when I found Hekate to be my true Goddess My lady was pregnant at the time going in and lost the baby when the hospital put her under a medical induced coma basically so I was guided to go to the local crystal shop and she helped me pick out healing crystals for her at that time I didn't know it was Hekate divinely guiding my hand on the crystals I picked out for her when I was coming back home after leaving my bank I passed through my works parking lot and there was a car at our speaker box getting there order taken and low and behold on there license plate was the name HEKATE I then knew it was her reaching to me and my lady so that night after taking the crystals to the hospital I researched about her for hours on end and realized she had been with me since a child I've always been attached to skeleton keys and had street lamp flick off and on when I passed under them it was a very amazing experience to find Hekate literally a day after I brought the crystals to the hospital she started to recover the hospital had her on so many narcotics keeping her non responsive I told them take her off the meds now because they claimed she would not cooperate and speak to them when they finally did boom she was talking fine and back to normal ever since we have devoted to the Beautiful Goddess Hekate we participate every new Moon in deipnon thanks for sharing your story HAIL HEKATE KEEPER OF THE KEYS GUIDER WITH THE TORCHES

@7:48 Your description of her on a hill, observing through a black veil is exactly how I saw her as she came to me. Except instead of a funeral it was a pre-dawn war - a battle field. This was also during a period of my life where the 'ton of bricks' hit me. Thank you for your description and testament.

I have been pulled to Hekate for years. What I have found more than anything is over the years her presence is super strong for me starting in August and probably runs through about February. In February, Persephone tends to show up a lot. What I've started to do is embrace both of them. Persephone reminds me to embrace my free spirited nature, to slow down, smell the flowers and be free. Hekate comes in later and reminds me that its time to buckle in for the winter months and work on myself so that I can come into my new form in Spring.

Another wonderful video 🖤 my last experience with Hekate was bittersweet, it was a very difficult moment when I was attending an appointment alone a few months ago. I felt her presence beside me and I understood that what I was about to hear wasn’t good news and she was preparing me to hear it, reminding me of my strength (and that crying isn’t weakness!). I experience Hekate as a stern, maternal figure who pushes me to do the things I don’t want to do. Similarly to you, I see her as a woman in black, sometimes young, sometimes old, but always a strong energy. I believe that she’s allowing me some time to heal before we reconnect again, which I hope will be soon. 🖤

Not sure if you will see this message viv, being that this video is a year old, but, i just had my very first experience with hekate. i prayed to her for 10-20 minutes, and i just let everything out, everything. and then i told hekate, i will sit in silence and meditate for 5-10 minutes and try to listen for her response. during that meditation an old friend of mine called whom i havnt seen in years, and he said he literally just started thinking about me and felt like he needed to call me, he then suggested we go see his witch doctor togethor. i really needed this, as i was feeling suicidal.

Loved your description of her. I’ve been working with Hekate for a few months now and haven’t been happier. I felt her presence for years but never wanted to commit to deity worship but then when I finally did, I realized she still cared and I felt as if I was receiving a “welcome home” from her. Hard to explain. Although she definitely helps with opening new doors and opportunities, and yes, stern is a great description, I can tell she cares deeply for her devotees, just in a little more of an unconventional way 😌

My own mother was not soft and loving. Maybe that's why I gravitate towards Hecate archetypes. Anyone following the Mexican or Mesoamerican pagan paths or are interested in starting, research Tlazolteotl. She has similarities to Hecate. She is an Aztec/Mexica witch goddess supreme

Hecate feels like a true sister. Shes seen me go thru some shite.. and slowly but surely I found my way to her. She knew the power I harboured and was able to teach me while I heal during this time and become and believe in my power. 🖤🌠

Your experiences with Hekate mirror mine very strongly. I've always experienced her as stern and not soft or cuddly at all. She has high standards and expects you to do the work. That doesn't mean she isn't kind. Just that her style of nurturing isn't the gentlest. She's more like a mother bird who is gonna kick you out of the nest so you learn to fly. Which is valid in the right circumstances, and those involving Hekate usually are. That said, Hekate currently isn't one of my main deities but I have a lot of respect, awe and love for her. She truly is an amazing Goddess.

I've only spent a small amount of time with Hekate never really built up a connection with her to my knowledge, I leaned toward and worked far more extensively with Lilith. Though as the dark goddesses the two somewhat overlap as an archetype. It makes perfect sense that there would be multiple aspects to Hekate like mother figure, stern at times etc, it makes perfect sense. I've understood her to be the lady of the crossroads which corresponds to the powerful shifts in life one may experience and you described. Arachne and Kali were other dark goddesses I worked with extensively, as well as with all aspects of the goddess Isis. There is always an aspect of transformation while working with these spirits/deities. I just think of the triple goddess aspects when working with the (dark) feminine divine because eventually they have overlapping qualities and transformative power. I have to telI you, I love your personal experience videos, it's such a welcome change from the same regurgitated copycat information you come across. I hope you make more of them.

Hecate's energy is very powerful indeed.

When I first felt Hecate's energy it was an extremely unpleasant experience. It felt like a thick, graveyard-mist descended over my psyche, and I felt a little bit crazy for several days, and also slightly gloomy. Also, the cat was totally 'spooked' for a number of days; his eyes constantly darting around, looking at things which aren't there (he NEVER does that normally). Immediately following one Hecate meditation in particular the cat really freaked-out and remained hiding in the bedroom for the whole night. I was legitimately worried that unwanted entities had entered the house.

Her energy is that of a teacher to me. That kind of teacher that is nice but very commanding and stern when need be. Her presence is so powerful, I feel so privileged and honoured to be in her presence. I do agree that sometimes she will kind of just disappear, but then come back. Sometimes I try to get hold of her and I'll receive no answer, but a few weeks later I'll feel her presence again and then I receive the answer.

This is a great video, thank you. I have had a Hecate altar since 2020. I don't know for sure how long she's been in my life. I find her to have that graceful, regal energy. I've also seen her be quite scary, not towards me. I've found her to be stern to others when protecting me. I mostly offer her candles or incense regularly, flowers, eggs, biscuits, coffee. Sometimes I say poems / prayers to her like you do :). I find her to be strong and loving. I feel we have a strong heart bond. I feel so lucky to have her in my life. I think she sometimes shows me things that are frightening when I need to see the truth that I don't want to or cannot see. I also find that sometimes she seems to not be there, and then she returns. Hail Hecate Enodia, Goddess in the Roads. Way shower, road opener, keeper of the keys, in and of all things, may you rule the sky, the sea, and the land always. Hail Hecate <3
