4:53 That happens anytime someone writes a book about the poison path. Everybody seems to think they're an expert, rather it's the person writing the book or the person doing the criticizing. The scariest thing is that you basically just have to figure it out for yourself through trial, error, and research. Even if the knowledge that someone puts in their book is 100% factual they will still be criticized just for talking about poisons.

This is so helpful thank you. I’ve been feeling the pull of Hekate but also don’t have the pull to the Greek pantheon so have been putting it off. For me, Mary Magdalene, Kali, some of the Celtic gods/goddesses etc have all felt so easy but I feel a weird … anxiety? about Hekate. Like oh she’s not for me, she’s not someone I’m allowed to be connected to if that makes sense. So this just felt super reassuring and safe as a video. Thank you

3:50 Can you specify why you didn't like it? Based on some of my experiences with Circe and Medea it seemed like the closest thing I've encountered to a channeled writing from them. I'm definitely not into modern-day feminism and the monologue didn't come across like that, to me at least.
