I am on OMAD, 20 to 22 hours fasting.
I also do a 48 hours fasting once a week.
And I did a 72 hours fasting a month ago, a breakthrough reducing my waist 2 inches more to 36". Just complete my 2nd time 72 hours fasting last week.
I also on LCHF.
I am age 51 & feel my mind body like in my 20s.

I am part of another group and many times newbies are advised to just jump in. What we eat prior to is as important as the fast itself. TY sir.

I am Eating high carb, and high fruit lifestyle and this last water 3 day fast was the easiest so far. Refined sugar no.
Good video doc, beside the carbophobia part.

I had terrible acid reflux when I had to fast for one day for a SIBO breath test! Can't imagine doing 3 days 🙃

I completely agree you should not have other supplements on a water fast! Only purely water water fasting is so good for you

I ve just broken my 90hr water fast 3 hours ago with bone broth then 2 hours later with Vietnamese Pho ( minus the noodles) and some scrambled eggs and 30dg butter ( the only thing I desired while fasting). Perhaps my digestive track is rather robust so I have not been having stomach upsets when I ate all these yummy fatty rich foods ( I ve done 10 day fast 3 times, that I was more careful with breaking the longer fasts). Then I also had some fermented cabbage, an yoghurt mixed with milk kefir. Feeling great, super clear mind and my vision is improved with every extended fast. I ve lost only 2kg, ketone at 84hour fast measured at 5.6, I don't expect much from 4 day fast in weight loss, but I plan to do this every month for longevity and autophagy.

Ancestrally wouldn't we be drinking from natural water sources rich with trace minerals and electrolytes? We lose these when we urinate and sweat.

64 hours into My first 72-day 3 has been a bit rough woke up with nausea and light headedness, diarrhea ....powered through it even though I had fleeting thoughts of was drinking Coffee, Tea and water...also taking Magnesium at night...maybe pure water best
