Of course these are only to be attempted in you are able to do so and use support if needed ⚠️

If these aren’t in the cards right now because standing is difficult, that is okay! They can be worked up to 🙌🏼

Backwards walking is one way to help the hips especially if forwards walking is uncomfortable ☝🏽 it can also provide relief to the knees and back too!

Any sort of balance is great but it’s even better if you add movement to it inside of simply trying to stay still on one foot. This heel toe variation is one of my favorites ❤️

Sideways walking is great because we don’t do it very often (if at all). Those muscles need work too! It can also help you maintain range of motion going to the side which can be lost with hip osteoarthritis. ☝🏽

Great. Seemingly elementary yet so effective. I, 79, can recall our football coach insisted on back walking and side walking. From India 🇮🇳, I send ‘Best Wishes ‘ to all of my friends in the States 🇺🇸
