1) Don't eat past 6:30.
2) Eat a BIG breakfast.
3) No carbs after 1pm.
4) Portion Control.
5) Drink a big glass of water before meals.
[×*bonus*×~Brush your teeth. it will help stop you from eating more. & food taste weird after you brush 😕] Write it down, take a picture, remember these and finally put into action. Mind over matter.

I LOVE how she explains everything so nicely and gets straight to the point cause most people tell 10min of their background, 5min of disclaimers, and 15 minutes on why they did it and I’m like, ” I asked for an answer now, not 30min later” 😤🙄

I weigh about 220 right now and I really want to lose 80 pounds. This video ACTUALLY seems doable without feeling like I'm starving or being exhausted all the time

It does work yall! I was trying to lose 15 lbs and I was on the right path. I still wanted make sure I was doing it the right way or not and this video just explained all the things I do! I just still can't cut the carbs properly because of our family's food habit, but still am very happy with the results!

This is genius. I have to say that in a month and a half, I'm going to Hawaii and since I'm a teenager, I want to look good in a bikini. Cause you know, self esteem and societal pressure and expectations. This is really easy and practical and simple to remember. I think more than half of America should take your advice. I'm also working out a lot each week and eliminating certain snacks from my day. Like I learned that if I save my food that I pack for school until the end of the day then I dont get hungry before dinner. Another good tip is to chew gum. If you're like me and you eat when you're bored then chew gum with long lasting flavor. It helps tremendously

I watched several videos with girls trying to tell everyone how to loose weight. well, in my 20s or younger it was not hard to loose 20 lbs without even trying. now that I'm past 35 yrs old it's not that easy. I watched your video all the way through and liked it. I have watched it 5 times, to try to get these ideas stuck in my head. I am taking your advice and not some young girl that doesn't know the struggle of weight maintain in your 30s. by the way you look fabulous!!!

this is kinda what ive picked up on while watching the video
1. dont eat after 6:30 pm so that the food youve eaten can be digested before you go to sleep
2.eat a bigger breakfast so that youre full most of the day and you eat less at dinner because you still full
3. no carbs after 1 pm that includes oats, potatoes, eggs, almonds, cheese etc.
4. portion your food; seperate your food in half to eat less portions but it will still fill you up(follow #1)
5. drink a glass of water before every meal, ive don this for a couple days and it works because it fills your stomach up around halfway so when you eat you dont feel as if you need to fill ALL your stomach with food and you end up eating less and still food.

my tricks to losing weight/keeping it off:

- stop eating processed foods, almost all of our meals are homemade, especially after watching that episode of Last Week Tonight about how much sugar is added to food.
- when making your own meals from the tip above, make a big batch use planning for leftovers as part of your portion control so you don't need to cook for every meal
- my spouse loves to bake, we always have cookies or brownies around. I have a rule that I need to drink a glass of water for each cookie or brownie I eat, it definitely helps with portion control because i used to eat 3-4 cookies at once but now I don't because I don't want to drink that much water at once.
- we go on a 20 minute walk most days, our route is a loop that has a really big hill and then the gradual decline back to our house so it's a pretty good workout, most people go the other way so they don't need to climb the big hill.
- drink mostly water, limit the amount of other drinks you consume. I used to drink a lot of juice and not only did it not help my weight situation, it also ruined my teeth and I ended up with a lot of demoralization that weakened my enamel and lead to a lot of cavities or areas that i need to take really good care of now to prevent more cavities. for the last couple of years I decided to only have 1 non water beverage a day be it soda, coffee or juice. this is also a good way to save money if you don't buy bottled water (i just use a water filter)

I've worked a desk job for the last 4 years and just by doing these things I've lost a lot of weight in the last year and a half. I weigh less now than when I was hauling boxes full time at a warehouse for 8 years but eating and drinking whatever I wanted

Thank you so much! It’s only been one week and I have already lost 3 pounds. This is by far the most helpful video I have come across!

We eat dinner here in France at 8:30 or 9 until 10:30. It's cultural. It's horrible for weight gain because you're at the table so long that you keep eating and it's usually loaded with carbs plus more carbs with baguette. It's so Annoying. Restaurants here don't even open until 8. I've had to train myself to stick to salads and tiny salads and eating ☹️

They are good ideas :) I used to do like that in my better life (before depression) and I was quite satisfied. Now I don't care.

My ways were maybe more easy-going though.
1) Don't eat past 9PM (I get up late;)
2) Breakfast: eat EVERYTHING (I often ate a bar of chocolate;)
3) I tried to eat only protein & fiber evening meals, sometimes I couldn't ;)
4) I always drink before eating, that's just natural

BTW, I HATE brushing my teeth, I can't stand the touch of the brush. Usually, I do it only once a day. But the idea is great :)
