The music in Season 1 was soooo good. I didn't have strong feelings about the story itself, but the music and visuals made watching the show like watching a very long very cool music video. I liked it overall, and I hope season 2 has the same plus a more compelling chapter of the story.

Great recap. But nothing compares to re-watching the entire first season. I enjoyed it when I originally watched it when it first aired, but I must say that my enjoyment tripled during the rewatch. Being able to binge all eight episodes really helped and for those who didn’t like the first season I think it gets much better on a rewatch. I am very excited about watching the first three episodes on Thursday.

The thing that people need to remember is that this is not a faithful recreation. This is a made for TV adaptation the general viewers need to be able to understand without having read any books or watched any YouTube videos. Take my advice and enjoy it for what it is rather than wishing it was something else and being miserable.
