Wow! Never thought of the white vinegar but I think that would also help kill any bacteria too! I've heard of people putting some lemon juice either on the lettuce or on the paper towel too. Can't remember which it was.

Thanks, I this is great info! I usually do it almost the same way, rinse, spin and store in a container with paper towel. I did not know the trick about the vinegar tho! I am guessing, hoping you can do the same with spinach? I buy spinach often in a big bbag and store it the same way. But again I didn't know about the vinegar trick. Is spinach okay with rinsing in vinegar water?
