im a person who walks every day but not much but recently i started to walk 20000 steps a day and it's so far very good i've lost a couple pounds i looks better and i feel better
i recommend walking for everyone if you want to be healthy and lose some weight get your fat ass up and start walking .
by the way if 20000 steps is very hard for you then you can start with 10000 or 15000steps a day for couple weeks after that 20000 will be very easy

I end up walking between 15, 000 and 20, 000 steps a day at work and I'm shocked at how quickly it becomes easy

I'm walking now 20.000 steps too. My record was 40.115 and when I did that I felt so horrible 😂 and I didn't wanted to walk anymore 😂😂

The last time I tracked my steps I was only at 2, 000 - 4, 000 😭 this inspires me to start tracking again and try to get more in

I just started hitting 20k two days ago. I must be a pretty fast walker. I hit 10k in the morning in 45 min and another 10k in the evening for another 45 min. Seems very sustainable. Makes me feel incredible.

I wish i had ur climate. I live in the tropics so its super humid even at night, the only time to walk outside is between 5-7AM

For anyone interested, if you want to know how much you need to walk daily to lose 1 lbs or 1 kg per month, you can use these rough formulas...

Miles/day more = 1 / 0.00454 / bodyweight (lbs)
Km/day more = 1 / 0.00283 / bodyweight (kg)

I am getting about 22 k in 3 and 1/2 hours. Coupled with dieting I'm really really hoping that I can drop 30 lb by July

Couldn't you get a standing desk and a treadmill? You could do 10, 000 steps at your computer and 10, 000 outside.

Anyone wanting to lose weight doing this, in 2021 for 3 months i walked 20k steps a day and ate 1500 calories a day. My sreps were in the form of 3 seperate 1 hour walks. In 6 weeks i lost 3 clothes sizes. Going down to 126 pounds (im female) and uk size 6 to 8 (US size 2-4).
