New yorker here, they told us it was only going to give a license just for basic i.d., not for voting. The DMV for a short time opened up with full staff in order to make sure they got as many people i.d.'s before anyone would realize. What really bothered me was the fact that and anyone whose ever been to the DMV with the long lines and wait times which was never a concern or care before was now being addressed as long as it was giving licenses to illegals. How is this not stacking the deck in favor of one side?
