New California law allows immigrants to receive driver's licenses

Thousands of undocumented immigrants eagerly awaited their chance to apply for a driver's license in California, some in near-freezing temperatures. Under the new law, undocumented immigrants must submit fingerprints, proof of identity and state residency, in addition to passing the written and behind-the-wheel exams to receive their license. Mexico has an economic problem with illegal immigration on it's southern border and they have a wall there, but they get economic benefit from the illegal immigration on their northern border and don't want a wall there. Anyone else see a pattern here?

Give them a driver's license? Do you really think they will get vehicle insurance? Safer driver then an American citizen the video claims? This statement is ludicrous.

A state driver's license should be a privilege not given to increase revenue. Since the majority of these undocumented (illegal) immigrants can not speak, understand or read English how can they be able to obey laws of the road. With fraudulent paperwork obtaining a license will be easy.
