I found myself naturally evolving to a similar pattern, I couldn’t agree more. Workout midday, walk the pup for some fresh air and then back at it!

Totally agree, I hit a CrossFit class at noon most days and it really helps keep you focused in the afternoon

We got a dog a few years ago. Now I usually take at least 1 30 minute walk a day. I completely agree it is very beneficial and it would probably be good for me to take two walks a day. I have heard sitting is quite bad for our health. Thanks for inspiring me to go walk the dog!

I shifted to this pattern from my previous 9-5 to my now remote, and the energy change speaks for itself. Everyone is different of course, but I get so much more done, keep consistent energy levels, stay productive and feel happier with this kind of schedule. Absolutely recommend it.

Only problem....if your job is physically tasking this isn't a break

Andrew Huberman morning routine is the optimal routine.

1. Get natural light on your face first thing after waking
2. Wait 90 mins to drink caffeine
3. Wake up at the same time every day

Omg yesss I started doing this! It's cold 🥶 here in NH, winter season ... but I invested in a treadmill second hand so I can get that walk break.

Love it. Careful with heavy lifts in these breaks (squats deadlifts etc) at a certain point you can tax your central nervous system a little too much and actually end up more tired. Save the big lifts for when you’re ready to relax afterwards. but walks? perfect. 10 burpees a la jocko? also perfect

Interesting video! It's impressive how the person is able to maintain high productivity levels without relying on caffeine. Definitely worth exploring this approach for those who are looking for alternative ways to boost their productivity!

I SERIOUSLY LOVE THIS VIDEO. Something clicked for me watching this. We often deplete ourselves in one area instead of keeping it balanced. The split shift makes so much sense, to be the most productive we have to ideally want to be there, it's easier to feel like you're not depleted when you mix it up.

I'm a teacher in Primary school...If I have a break I use to go the bathroom🙂. I walk a lot during my work (8000+ steps) After work I need my "power rest". Congrats to all who can manage walking breaks.

I totally do this... Leave work at 11 to go home and take a 5 hour siesta. Then back to work until 8.

This is true we need time or break to take care for ourselves. When I have crazy days the gym helps me!
