Working long hours doesn't necessarily mean better results in terms of productivity and this is what we need to pay attention to instead.

start work at 12pm to 1pm and get a hour for lunch. Life is for living not slaving for others there will be money around when we are not. And why waste your life working mad for cash ... yes you can buy things but you cant take them with you..?? Time + life is priceless so enjoy it xx

lol 8 hours for work. You need to add 2 hours for round trip commute plus getting ready and other stuff which comes out to be 12 hours not 8 hours. Half the day goes to working.

It's the Pareto Distribution. 20% of the time at work produces 80% of your best work product. The inverse is also true. 20% of your time produces 80% of your worst work product. 20% of an 8hr day is approx. 2hrs. Swedish companies gave their employees the declining hours back with no impact on production. The key is targeting the best 2 hours people have and allowing sufficient time for momentum to build and then cutting off production before performance degrades detrimentally. Apparently the sweet spot is 6 hours. This coincides with studies showing people tend to have 2 hours a day of peak cognitive performance.

Is it possible to get a transcript? I'm using this as part of a business English curriculum, but my student is unable to hear the conversation via zoom. He is not in the US and has no access to youtube in his country.

Dang, in my country, most companies work 9 hours a day including 1hr lunch break. I wish it was 8 hours instead.

60 hrs a week seems to be a good way to go.
