In my (mostly Caribbean) family, the men experiment more with their food, creating very amazing food, unique to each guy. The women excel at faster, more consistent meals with larger quantities. I'm pretty lucky that both the men and women in my family are amazing cooks with unque strengths. 🤩

I think more series with them will be awesome. Even if it's just one or a pair of them making a "holiday homestyle" recipe that they love to make at home for their family with Guga. The show's style (to me) is always about family and friends, and I think this would be a awesome addition to the format.

I just started the video and paused it to write this comment :

I think that men vs women all depends on the situation.

And i say this as a man working in restaurant for the last 25years, but also having a mother, a sister, a girlfriend...
Men are more efficient, colder, and organized for a rush, like you have to endure, in a restaurant,
but women can put more love and passion if you give them the time and especially if the dish is for someone they love.

That's why nothing can beat a grandma dish :
She has all the love, all the will, and all the time to create perfection.

I miss both my Mémé so much... Both were amazing in the kitchen, and from two different continents, so i had the pleasure to taste so many different cuisine..
My grandma Francine, made the best couscous while my grandma Nelly made the best tartare...


Now if you still have your grandparents, then go and hug them and ask for their recipes, even if it's never gonna be as good...
At least you can share it with the next generation
