Yeah but Coraline went to a store with her real mother, and there were different people there, but the beldam can only create things that are like somewhat connected to the house, like the garden, but she can't create things that far. Also, she only creates things which she thinks are good for making Coraline happy (To lure her into the world and sew buttons into her eyes and everything)

Everyone says the movie is scary but this has been my favorite movie since It came out in 2009🌝 (I was 4) it’s not scary just very thought provoking

Also the cat said that there are other ways to enter and exit the other world and also said that it can only talk in the other world, but it never said that it can only use its powers in the other world, so no matter where the cat is, it can use its powers and enter the other world at any time.

Coraline was able to escape because she refused to let the other mother take her ‘soul’ where as the ghost children voluntarily gave her their eyes (souls) so to speak as they state themselves so they were unable to escape the other-mothers clutches.

Also Coraline probably could have just tried to melt they key instead of putting it down the well with the broken hand of the other mother which could probably just put itself together furthermore when they dump it in the well it sounds as though it takes a shorter amount of time to reach the bottom then at the beginning.

Lastly if Mr bobinskis jumping mice knew about the door and the dangers it held why didn’t they somehow take the key as they tell him to warn coraline about the little door.

Watching the movie in a box somehow and when I was done watching it my sister was telling me she’s gonna sew buttons in my eyes and I was four at the time I guess I went to sleep crying my eyes out scared that she’s gonna sew buttons in my eyes

The fact that when she tries to leave and she goes up to her room in the other world and tries to fall asleep the other mother is able to keep her from leaving-kind of proves this theory could be true

SO BASICALLY LET ME EXPLAIN: so the cat in the real world can’t talk or do anything THIS IS MY THOREY REMEMBER so the cat in the real world cannot speak or disappear but the cat in the fake world can do all that stuff right? So in the end you see the cat go back to her world and that’s not the real world cat so that’s why I think he disappeared in the end… Thanks for listening ❤
