I always thought the Other Mother was the same species as Pennywise from It except instead of feeding on the fear of children she feeds on their love. That's my personal theory anyway

she even said at the end “DONT LEAVE ME!”

And bc the Beldam’s love DIED, “she wants someone to love” the cat said.

When you were talking about how the Beldam hurt so many people in her past but then felt different when she met Tom Keats, I was just thinking about this line in the bug room where she said, “They say even the proudest spirit can be broken, with love.”. That sort of symbolizes how her love for Tom Keats changed her.

My theories on Mr bobinsky is that he sends the mouses to tell coraline to save the dead kids and since Mr bobinsky said "don't go thrue little door " I think he knew everything

That’s terrifying. Did you know there a folk lore about the ‘Other Mother’ the date backs to 1800.

Yes, I reached the same conclusion! Although I’m not sure about the part of her not having a soul...In the book, one of the spirits of the children has butterfly wings and eats flowers. I have a theory that she was the Beldame’s original daughter, that’s why she’s also a fairy.
Also, I’m autistic and changelings were mainly a way to explain autism back in the day (alongside other disabilities but mostly autism) so I deeply relate to the changeling myth (and have a special interest in fairies) but I also happen to relate a lot to Coraline as well and many other autistic people do too and many believe she’s also autistic. She may or may not have been written with this intended, but regardless, I wonder if maybe Coraline is also a changeling herself; in the book, the other mother says “No one will listen to you, really listen to you. You're too clever and too quiet for them to understand...” and this quote really stood out to me

When she said "You just in time to suffer dear."

I felt like she means Coraline is gonna stay here and suffer with button eyes.

Imagine how much work the creators of Coraline had to dig in history and folk lore to have these theories be mildly true

This is for the people who skipped the video, so here is the summary :
The person who is voicing the video basically talks about the other-mother's name the "Beldam" and how it can also mean Bell Dame (which means witch), and there is a poem named after that. She then takes parts of the poem and relates it to her eyes, looks, personality, and other stuff. She also says Beldam means fairy's child and that if she was a changeling (a fairy with a disability that was swapped with a human) she most likely went evil. She then says that the man the Beldam loves died, and since fairies don't have souls, when she dies, she will never meet her loved one's soul again. Make sure to watch part two and I hope this helped :)

"And usually, when they know they come from fairies, and they know they're a changeling, they grow up to be evil..."
