I watched a theory about the mirror thing. It says that just like there are doors to the Other World, there could also be windows to it. Hence how she was able to see her parents. Either the Beldam or the Cat opened the window to look at her parents.

It would make sense for the beldam to make the illusion of the real world to further convince Coraline how much worse her life is to make her want to stay

When Coraline escapes the other world to realize that her parents are gone, the groceries are rotten. This would mean that coraline stayed in the other world for days if not weeks. What's weird is Weibi isn't weirded out by her not leaving her house. This might mean that Coraline never really left and the other mother or the beldam just created a fake Weibin to calm Coraline and feel a sense of freedom.

I believe that the theory of Coraline never leaving the other world because notice at the end of the movie during the garden scene the mother says " you were right Coraline, I really don't like dirt" this was weird for me because at the beginning when Coraline says she wants to play in the rain the mother says no and says she hates dirt, the mother says the this not Coraline telling her, she only says the that to the beldam when she suggested that they play in rain in which Coraline tells her "but you hate dirt" so how can she be right about something she never said to her mother but only to the beldam, coincidence BISH I THINK

This is actually true cause at the end you see the cat on a sign and he walks through the sign which means Coraline is still stuck in the other world cause that cat couldn’t do that in the real world😶

Yeah I believe this theory is true as her parents seem “off” at the end and at the end the cat goes through the sign which a cat couldn’t do in the real world and the ghost children did warn coraline at the end and she threw her only escape method down the well I do think this theory is true

The Beldam uses magic in the real world the entire movie. She sends the Coraline doll to the realworld with ease. I think she has power in the real world just to an extent but can't actually effect serious changes. Otherwise how would she be able to control her doll to help children find the door in the first place?

Coraline was able to escape because she refused to let the other mother take her ‘soul’ where as the ghost children voluntarily gave her their eyes (souls) so to speak as they state themselves so they were unable to escape the other-mothers clutches.

Also Coraline probably could have just tried to melt they key instead of putting it down the well with the broken hand of the other mother which could probably just put itself together furthermore when they dump it in the well it sounds as though it takes a shorter amount of time to reach the bottom then at the beginning.

Lastly if Mr bobinskis jumping mice knew about the door and the dangers it held why didn’t they somehow take the key as they tell him to warn coraline about the little door.

We can all agree that Wybie and the other father are the only ones good and I feel like every time coraline goes into the tunnel it gets longer and longer in the end the door got pushed by the other mother I didn’t watch the whole TikTok so idk if he said this

At the start of the movie in the real world coralines octopus toy has a normal octopus head but in the other world it has cat ears.At the end of the movie the octopus toy still has cat ears which means she never left.At the start of the movie wybie says that kids aren't allowed in the pink Palace but then why would his grandma let coralines family live it there knowing they had a child.I think that Wybies grandma could be working with the other mother so she didn't take away Wybie because he is an unhappy child.Also, the cat might be a puppet of the other mother as he is the only the only creature who can use magic in the other mothers world and the real world like when he dissappear behind the pink Palace sign in the real world if coraline did really escape the other world.
