are you sure your sd card was on the unlcock bit that may be the reason it didnt read correctly ? on the side of the sd card there is like a wite tab that you can push up and down

You need to get into the "Engineering screen" to do it. Updating the MMI from that screen is for the factory service techs with the laptop.
There are videos on here to help.

please I need some advice. my Audi Q3 2014 cffb didn't come with display navi screen and I want to upgrade it. I found some display screen on Ebay but from Uk so I don't know how the map will look like. or change the firmware to get everything correct. because UK is right-hand drive and France is left-hand drive. thank you

What can happen is you can lock your system. You have to make sure you bought the correct SD card for your System. You can lock it out and have a world of problems. Check Instagram and some forums. Don’t listen to the folks talking shit. You tried. Do more research! Good luck.
