Audi MMI 2022/23 maps free update (4G MIB2 download links)

How to #update Audi #MMI GPS maps for free in MIB2 (MHI2 and MHI2Q) systems. Navigation #maps are used for traffic sign recognition, predictive cruise control (pACC), and other environment related features. That's why it's a good idea to keep those maps up to date. Here's an Audi Q7 (4M) with MHI2Q MMI Navigation Plus system that just got fresh 2022/23 maps.

ℹ️ Prepare empty SD card, 32GB capacity or more. Format it with FAT32 or exFAT file system. Download maps update package, extract it, and copy to the SD card. Insert the card into SD1 port, got o MENU, Setup MMI, System update, SD1, Start update. Wait 30 to 50 minutes for the update to complete.

🚗 This tutorial was made in Audi Q7 (4M) with MHI2Q system but the same procedure will apply to all MIB2 High navigation units. The same map update is used not only in Audi MMI Navigation Plus (A3 A4 A5 A6 A7 A8 Q2 Q5 Q7 TT R8), but also in Volkswagen Discover Pro (Golf, Passat, Arteon), Seat Navi Plus (Leon, Ateca), and Skoda Columbus (Octavia, Superb), Porsche, and Bentley cars.

Man, thank you very much for the links! FYI i downloaded the correct version from the page according your instructions, put the unzipped content into the root of the flash drive, put it into my A6 C8 USB, it found that automatically after a minute or so, then checked that, asked for a confirmation and then it took about 30-40 minutes to finish. I had to keep my driver's door open during that time and connect the 12V charger (6A was enough) to be sure it aint die in the middle of the process. Thank you.

The map updates has a cool feature. When you come close to the destination, now it’ll tell you in HUD if the destination is on the left or right. I always suffered with this issue

I downloaded the West and Central Europe file but when I unzip it. I get 2 folders: OO and EEC.
I don't get the MIB folders. Am I doing something wrong?

First of all, Thank you sooo much for putting this content together and sharing! In my case I was able to install the MIB app and access the GEM - but I couldn't update the maps. I have a A4 Avant B9 (2019) and use the Brazilian maps (rest of the world maps). I've downloaded them and unzipped the files to a SD card, but when I try to update it says that the SD doesn't contain valid files for update. I double checked the version (MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P5092) - seems to be the latest. Any hint or tip? I've noticed that the "key" is 023d002a, not the one you mention on your videos. Please, if you could help me, I would be grateful !

I'm missing the 023000ee activation key. The one in my car is similar 02300020. Any advice? Do I need 023000ee?

Worked great on my A6 C7, thanks. Just wondering, in a previous video you showed how to update to 2022 maps (which worked great as well). Do they update their maps twice a year? I wasn’t expecting another update for at least a year. Great though, so thanks again! :)

And can it be done by some other than Audi directly or would you recommend to do it with them?
I have an A6 allroad 2017.
