Ngl I actually messed up my shoulder from dips and haven't fully recovered after 2 months, but man do I love my dips. Make sure not to go too heavy and always remain in control of the movement. Also, careful on how low you go, cause that's how I got injured

I ruined my sternum doing dips and now have Costochondritis, if you experience an unusual pain doing dips, stop and never do them again. Work your triceps in another way. There are plenty of variants. Don't hurt yourself.

If you have weak rotator cuffs or problematic scapular rotation, then yes, dips are really bad for your shoulders. In such cases, there are actual ways to get stronger without risking a stupid shoulder injury.

Agreed. No better exercise. I find my bench goes up so much faster when my dips are on point. They hit that front delt, tricep, and even a bit of chest extremely well. I get a better pump off them than I do bench.
