Hi just found your channel and I’m busy binge watching EVERYTHING. I’ve always exercised but 5 years ago started suffering chronic pain with arthritis in spine and rotator cuff I just so I’ve been very inactive and gradually gaining 5 over st . I Started journey to reduce medication and increase strength about 4 months ago lost half of the weight reduced meds by half and joined the gym. I’m sitting in bed a bit depressed tonight cos my pain is slowly creeping back as I become more active. I had been promised a course of nerve block injections from my consultant but earlier found out I have to wait 12 months. I’m fine training lower body and my strength is quite good I practice sit to stands and squats every day plus sit ups and core work and go to the gym 4 or 5 times a week (for the past 3 months) but have now got arthritis in left big toe and metatarsalgia in right foot so walking is difficult. So I set myself little challenges to keep going and get stronger as I’m sitting in bed I’ve just used my grip strength exerciser Whilst watching you tube. I’d not heard of sarcopenia but now I’ll be doing everything I can to make sure I don’t go that road anytime soon. So thank you for the time and effort you put into this channel I really appreciate it. Cute kids too.

Discovered you on the podcast Strong and Lean at Any Age "Training the Older Adult". I'm definitely in that category and have been for quite some time now (lol:). You mentioned about vitamins and minerals that can be taken to help with bone density and joints. Just wondering if you could share your thoughts on what? Loved that podcast and will be following you for sure. Thanks a bunch :)
