How to stop spending money

It's easy to get carried away when shopping and come home with an impulse buy (or two). There's nothing wrong with that - as long as you can afford it and use what you buy.

If you can't, or there's something else you're struggling to save for, then it's time to stop spending money when you don't need to.

In this video I've shared how you can identify, reduce and then block your bad spending habits.

My issue is comfort eating I end up spending most of money on Uber eats and just eat 😩 I’ve deleted those apps so I’m hoping I’ll be able to save more money now 😂 hopefully.

I had a fire in my home in November last year. Home base have a sale giving half price units, taps and sinks. I will buy the hob, oven and thing that goes over these as cheaply as possible. I am getting all this because my family needs it. I am going to make sure I spend less.

I'm currently struggling with this problem and have identified that I get the urge to spend usually related to my passion work. I justify it as an investment but it can get expensive. I also have the problem of buying clothes. I've been buying all second hand clothing now for years so I get a lot more for my money but because things are only a few pounds here and there I have easily spent a lot and it adds up. I can't just buy one coat for £3 I have to buy them all for example. I have more clothes than my wardrobe can fit but I still buy. I am currently a student and don't have an income. My house is full of crap and i don't even own my house. I have a terrible habit of 'stocking up' on things i like, so if theres a bottle of perfume i like, for example, i will think i better buy a few more in case they stop making it. I'm a hoarder i think...you'll see me on the news in a few years buried in my shit!!
