Thanks for sharing your experience- I have a low tolerance for frustrating restrictions like these, so you saved a lot of time and a lot of frustration.

Not even a minute in the video and you're giving valuable info, I'm totally watching this and probably saving it for later review. Thanks!

Thanks for the video, this is exactly why I'm just going to get a domain and drive traffic to my course there. Not a big fan of soo much micromanagement and red tape

My first course on Skillshare I just uploaded a something that I had on another platform. No problems. Then I took their workshop and immediately got a strike because I didn't clearly state what the class project was. I thought it was obvious what the project was. I guess I didn't encourage people to post. I think if I had done the same course but not taken the workshop that it might have squeaked through. I also don't think strikes are permanent. At the time I thought they were permanent and didn't try to upload a new course for probably 2 years. I think they could come up with a better way to give the strikes. I was pretty disheartened with the whole thing and focused on my classes on different website where I had more success.

I'm glad I watched this before signing up. I also never seen a platform where the teacher has to pay to be a member.

Totally Agree with you, I got content strike as well, if you present couress in the field of Animation and Graphic Design and Productivity, you will make a decent amount of money on Skillshare, other than that udemy is better option, Thanks for the video

Thank you for this awesome video! Can I ask you how you did your lighting? It’s calming, not too bright and I’d like to do the same thing. Thanks so much, Laura

Where can I find the skillshare video on how to make a class? I searched it on skillshare and I'm getting crazy unrelated results by teachers not skillshare itself. Thanks I appreciate all the information and help! Best wishes in your endeavors!

Hmmm you said no links or self promotion, but what if you feel a book, or other resource is useful?
So.... You say
"there is a book on graphic design called blablabla. I suggest you get it, because it helps a lot with what I'm going to talk about in photoshop here. Very useful, and most professionals have this book somewhere in their library."

no link or price point.
Or watermarking your videos with your logo/website?
