I own a Wii U (32 GB Mario Kart 8 bundle) and I have no problem with mine. The only good games that I have for my Wii U are Mario Kart 8, Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. I enjoy the Wii U because it is backwards-compatible with Wii and Wii U games, Wii accessories such as Wii Remotes/Wii Remote Pluses, Wii arcade sticks for fighting games such as Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition and Injustice: Gods Among Us and vice versa. If I wanted a Wii, I would get the very first model and use it mainly for GameCube gaming and use the Wii U for Wii and Wii U gaming. The Wii U is the very first online Nintendo console to not use friend codes like the Wii, the Switch and the DS and 3DS series.

Nintendo discontinued the WII U in Jan 2017. I must say I think it was a stupid idea to discontinue it. I think the WII U is an awesome system, & there is a massive library.

I love my Wii U, I never got the Nintendo Wii but since I can play all those games on my Wii U I can't really ask for more, I got all I need on my Wii U, I don't get why Nintendo turn their back on the Wii U, to me it's an AWESOME console with an endless list of A games to play.

I think the Wii U works really well as a system in a vacuum and especially in retrospect.


You can get a lot of cool games on the VC, Wii games and it actually has some respectable games just for the Wii U. Some of those games were ported to the 3DS and the Switch (why it works better in a vacuum) so that takes away some appeal but there's still plenty of substance.


If you buy a Wii U now you don't have to deal with the game release droughts because all the titles are out. You can get a handful of typically non-Nintendo games like Assassin's Creed and the Arkham games for dirt cheap too.


I'm not saying it's a perfect system but if you can find one see for a fair deal, I think you'll warm up to it

should i buy a wii u just for splatoon?? Ive listened to a lot of reviews of splatoon back in 2015 saying it felt unfinished but how about in 2018?? Is splatoon and the wii u still worth it?

I did buy a Wii U in 2017 and don't regret it, but I was really disappointed to be hit by the news that the Miiverse is going to be shut down. That made me very sad 'cause I only own the console for some months and now the network is being shut down. I couldn't really appreciate the console as it's supposed to be, like the people who bought it back when it was released. So playing the games without the network is really not going to be the same...

I have wanted to get a wii U for like 2 years and finally pulled the trigger two weeks ago. I was able to pick up the
black 32 GB model for $ 143.99 at Pawn America. I bought yoshi for $ 17 and Donkey kong for $12. I plan to keep
the system till 2019 when their are enough games on the Switch to make it a worth while purchase.

My WiiU broke when my ex-girlfriend smashes my WiiU gamepad. I feel like a lot of games like Super Mario 3D World and Xenoblade Chronicles X and even The Wonderful 101 (it was teased!) will make it off the WiiU.

However, I don't think Star Fox Zero or NintendoLand will ever make the transition.

Based on how poorly the WiiU sold, I am also starting to think the console might be a collectors addition down the line.

Also not sure how I find myself commenting on videos over a year old....
