Because of the pandemic, AP Tests got cancelled. However, I was taking AP Computer Science Principles, and the way that class works is you have this project at the end of first and second semester, and both count towards your AP Test scores, too. However, with Corona, they made it so the AP Test score is simply from the 2 projects. Now, these projects were also turned in class and graded by our teacher as part of our grade for the actual class as well as being turned in for the AP Exam.

I got an A on both of the projects by my teacher.

AP Exam Score: 2. Fucking 2. When I followed all the directions, met all the requirements, and did extra on both projects. And they didn't give any sort of explanation. Absolute fucking bullshit.

And yet, College Board considers itself “nonprofit.”

I took only one ap exam because I plan on doing IB my junior and senior years (I am not in the USA). That AP exam was AP Seminar, and for those of you who have taken it, you will know the exam has a decent amount of writing.

So on with the story, I ride my bike to school, and on this particular day (day of the examination), it had just rained the night before so the road was wet, and I had to swerve because someone was approaching me. Because of this I fell and broke my arm as well as my tooth, I got up and tried to collect myself, I had considered turning back and going home to address my injuries. but I realized I needed to inform my teacher that I need to take the exam at another time, so I dragged myself and my broken bike to school with my ears buzzing and unable to see clearly. I made it to school and took a minute to straighten myself, and walked up to the teacher in charge of the exam and told him about my injuries, and he could visibly see my broken tooth. He told me I wouldn't be getting my money back if I did not take the exam, and it was too late for me to go to the nurse because the exam was going to begin in 2 minutes. so I walked in, picked up my pen with my broken right arm, and wrote for 90 minutes through unbearable pain. By the end, I was on the verge of passing out. I then went to the doctor's and was all healed after a month.

the exam was 50% of the grade, and in the course, I scored a 3. among my A's, this 3 was the proudest grade I ever earned.

College board: *exploiting teenage stress since 1899*

You’d think that people getting an F average on a test would tell college board to change the curriculum but it’s normalized to get those low scores…

Students: **try to live a normal life without spending much money**
College board: *"And I took that personally"*

Do not take AP classes, take dual enrollment!!! Most colleges don't restrict that has hard, they're mostly free/cheaper with a community college, and you can get your AA!

The education system gets more corrupt the older we get. They swear that it's important and very essential but make it Hella hard to pursue.💯

im so glad I live in europe lmao watching videos like this makes me realise how different our school systems are. we don't have anything like AP classes or valedictorians or class presidents. it all seems so stressful and unnecessary, not even going to mention the fact that you have to pay for an exam??

This is why I encourage high schoolers to do dual enrollment classes instead of AP classes. They're easier, cheaper, and you automatically get the college credit. 100% less stress especially if you take classes at a community college.

One must also consider that AP Exams are cheaper than the actually college class. APUSH is cheaper than a US history course at most colleges. Even considering the fact that some colleges don’t accept AP, this fact is still important to consider.

I took 7 APs my senior year. I’m still not even sure why I pressured myself into it, it wasn’t my parents or teachers. Don’t do it kids it’s not worth it

The best part of living in Indiana is that AP classes for core classes (math, English, science) are paid for by the state. I’ve only ever spend money on one exam and it was APWH

I love how even if somehow you didn't know what an AP exam was, he still makes you hate it and he didn't talk about the outrageous levels of material that's covered on each one.
