Thank you for this video!!! I use 2 monitors for work and I was thinking of going Ultrawide. Most reviews online do not cover the productivity portion which is what I am looking for. I like you showed that I can split the screen which is what I need for work I can have emails on one side. The document I am working on in the middle and the referring sources on the left ! SOLD!

I've already worked with 2x24" monitors and one curve 34" display. I missed the first one when I started to work with the ultrawide 34". That's not just "more space, " but it's easier to organize your desktop and focus on one specific task. For one monitor, I display my e-mails and Teams, and for the second one, the spreadsheets and drawings I had to certify. My plan for the future is to buy 2x27 ultrasharp monitors.

Very helpful video, i was planning to get dual monitors from the get go, so i already had a bit of an opinion.
Expenses aside, i think i will still go with the dual monitors.
For the sake of 3 or 4 games and CAD which i would never really use, it just seems unnecessary.

What i liked about the video is you leaned into the ultrawide yourself and gave an honest opinion.

If you are really trying to compare the monitors, you have to compare how people are going to use them. No one games with dual monitors with a split bar down the middle. You game on one monitor only and use the other for different things, like twitch chat, videos, or instructional content. That's how 99% of people use their screens. So it might be better to compare using the screens that way, or at least add that to a comparison. Because dual monitors, will be better for multitasking, and the ultra wide is much worse at multitasking and takes more energy to set up. When you just use all your display for gaming the ultra-wide is better, but if you are gaming and multitasking b/c you are streaming, the dual displays would be better IMHO. And if you are being fair, and you equalize the budgets, you could afford two 4k 60hz monitors, which would have 3x the pixels than the ultra-wide, and be great for productivity, and some non-pro gaming, or slower paced games.

You are by far the most thorough reviewer I have seen lately. You talk about stuff others never talk, or either just swing by, but you get into it and explain. That's a great quality in this channel.
My problem is something you have not reviewed yet - should I get a 32" 16:9 or a 34 flat wide panel (Since I dont have any good ips curved ones in my country).
A safe bet would be the 32" but I really think about missing a flat environment. My only concern, by having a flat wide panel, is ping-pong my head between two windows, and having the farthest away text - far away from me. And making me very annoyed.
No reviewer have talked about it yet and those who did use it in a programing/two window setup did not talk about it.
I know you would have, if you tested a flat wide one :) Anyway I am going to buy it very very soon (because of a good discount) so I guess I'll report back soon. Thanks for the hard work bud.

Great video. Thank you. It helped me decide for 2 x 32" curved monitors. I want then only for productivity. I can open 4 documents at 100% size plus my laptop screen.

If you do a lot of screen sharing through MS teams or slack for work, then realize your coworkers will have a hard time seeing your screen since most will be on a 16:9 monitor.

You can kinda make it work by sharing only a window and not your desktop, then resizing the window to 16:9, but for a lot of stuff I need to share my entire desktop.

Outside of that I love my ultrawide, couldn't see myself going back anytime soon.
21:9 1440p ultrawide + vertical 24" on the side has been the perfect combo for me.
In games you can still have discord or browser open on full-screen games, and for work I still like a vertical monitor for long pdfs and code

I think Ultrawide monitor are too expensive. But after this review I changed my mind, if you have money then It's freaking amazing,
Only if you're willing to pay x3 the price of 2k monitor.

Would have been interesting to compare the UW vs a triple monitor set up…..especially when it came to the car racing, which was comical with the central bezel….unless you tested it with a modern F1 title where the cars have halo system.

Hello great video. I'm planning to buy 4 monitors, 2 up and 2 down (square configuration) would you recommend to buy 27 QHD or 25 QHD? 27s can make it very high and the 25s probably need scaling. Thanks
