Dual monitors for students and workers, ultra-wide for content creator for adobe. I have owned both set ups, pref dual for productivity!

This is perfect for me. Currently have 2x 1080p monitors for video editing. Thinking of moving to 1x 1440p ultrawide for simplicity and the fact I don't need dual monitors as much as I thought

Been having this question for a time. Finally decided to get 2 after this video. Ultrawide is good for fov, but I got that covered with in-game settings. Thank you so much for the advice! Dual is SUPER good for anything like gaming and streaming/recording, or gaming and watching videos/streams, or having 2 tasks. I have actually tried Ultrawide myself, and it comes down to what are your configurations for each task. For example: set recording/streaming software to games specifically, or just having tabs open all at once. Tab mode is better for games while multi-tasking. I hope whoever reads this comment gets what they need!

I have the answer to unify both sides:

A triple set up with an ultra wide in the center.

(That’s how my dream setup is)

As a gamer/streamer, I use one 28" for gaming, and two smaller screens to monitor SLOBS and Discord. So as you stated, it's all about what you will be using them for...

As a finance professional working between accounting software, many excel files, and PDF all at once, dual monitors is absolutely necessary. I also love running a game on a dedicated screen and then watching sports on the other (better quality than my 55" TV). But I totally would get ultrawide if I didn't need all the files open!

As a McDonalds customer service employee, duel 8k monitors have really helped me with my job.

32" Ultra wide and a 27" Monitor works for me. Love the UltraWide for coding and work. However I still want an another monitor to track discord etc when playing games.

I have tried all sorts of setups from single to dual and triple monitors. Mire recently I moved to a 34" ultrawide and love it. But then I added an old 20" monitor on the side in portrait because I still find it useful to throw a window on there occasionally tonget it out of the way but still keep it handy.

It does depend on budget. I went for an ultrawide a few years ago as I could get one higher quality display cheaper than two lower end displays and now I'm looking to add a normal 1080p display to go with the ultrawide. Get the best of both 😁

I use an AOC 144hz 27inch monitor as my primary, with a 24inch Samsung set up vertically as my secondary monitor. I use it mainly to keep an eye on my systems temps, memory and CPU usage while gaming. It's also useful for coding and reading in general, since I find it much more comfortable to read on a taller screen than a widescreen.

You get a follow for that Window + Shift + Arrow L/Arrow R trick.

Many thanks.

Personally multi-tasking between two monitors is the only option that makes sense due to the games I play. For example, I play Elite Dangerous which means I almost always need external tools open on my second screen while playing. Those tools range from discord, to current in game market data, to a neutron star router. With an ultra wide I would constantly find myself alt-tabbing to find the information I need rather than being able to glance to my left to just read the information.

Great video man! I just found your channel a few days ago and I prefer it to some of the bigger channels! Keep up the good work!

I have recently bought a 32" curved monitor. Balances gaming and work perfectly fine, not to mention the curved feature looks great.

I'm buying a good monitor for gaming and I have a old one that I'm going to use for chat when I stream

With online school ramping up and for me, there are so many tabs I need to keep track of. I'm thinking of buying another monitor for productivity.

Always get a second display. It’s very useful. Your entire screen won’t go dark just because one full screen app, game ect is running.

Ive been using dual monitors for two years ish now, and I realized something, I really only use the second monitor for Video Watching and Discord/chatting, I could just as easily just use an iPad or get a fancy wireless charging stand for my phone and glance at discord from there, since I have to alt tab anyway to actually reply, I could save the headache of cable managing two displays and maybe even get a ultrawide instead.
