This is Part 1/5 of my “What is Calvinism” series. Next week, we will be talking about the second letter in the acronym “TULIP”. Unconditional election. I feel a burden to teach young Christians, and Christians in general what the doctrines of Grace are and how important they are.
Scriptures referenced:
Ephesians 2:1-3
Romans 8:7-9
Romans 3:10-18
Psalm 51:5

Yes we are all depraved sinners, but none of the verses you gave say that we are unable to believe the gospel. Why do you believe that if there is no verse to support that?

Great explanation of the Calvinistic view! I would challenge you to think deeper. Are we totally unable to believe the gospel? The Bible teaches that the gospel itself has the power into salvation (Romans 1:16). Another point I would like to bring up is if we are totally unable to choose God without His sovereign decree pressed upon us, why would Jesus speak in parables and say it was so that they would not understand and not come to repentance if they were already unable to? Just consider it! Thanks :)

Total lies of Calvinists. "You who are being evil know how to give good gifts to your children."
Total depravity is not defined in scripture, but inserted by man.

Dead in sins does not equal total depravity. The dead in sin, you who are evil, can still choose to believe the gospel.

Friend are you part of the elect? Are you even saved? How do you know you do not have a spurious faith and that God has not ordained you to hell. Do not be so confident in your religious ferver as being evidence of your security.

Repent (change your mind) about your religious system and believe the gospel of the bible and you will be saved.
