I enjoy hearing descriptions of the people in court. It helps us visualize the scene.

Safe trip home Lauren and have the best day with your son. I am following from Calgary, Alberta and really appreciate all your very hard work as well as all your volunteers. Looking forward to tomorrow nights reports. Just get some rest and spend some time with your loved ones.

The whole mic thing in itself is crazy. I’ve watched lots of trials, and I’ve never heard a judge tell a witness to not talk into the mic. They always tell them to talk into the mic & tell them how to adjust it and the best position to have it in so everyone can hear.

I went into this week thinking RA was guilty and now I'm worried he was made a fall guy and thrown in the SHU and he went crazy and confessed just to get out of the SHU

Dr Wala has several cases against her by other inmates about mistreatment. Her actions regarding being a true crime junkie that had been deeply involved in researching the case before during and after giving mental health care to RA and not revealing that to her supervisors before taking him as one of her patient cases is reprehensible.

This is so complicated. I will say as someone with a psychological background that imprisonment takes a HUGE toll on even a grounded individuals mental health. His behavior in jail isn’t indicative of him being a guilty person. I hope to gain more information as the trial closes. Thank you for all of your hard work.

You are an amazing professional reporter.
Love your work, Laureen.
Don't feel bad if you miss some stuff. Taking notes is very difficult and you are like a living writing machine. ❤❤❤

What a mess this case is. From shoddy police work at the outset to this disaster of a prison psychologist. Also numerous grounds for appeal, including many of Judge Gull’s rulings.

The best thing about your reporting on this case is you are so expressive I feel like we are hearing the person testify. Thank you for excellent reporting.

Doesn’t sound like a true confession to me! “I did something with the gun?” Sounds like this is what they’ve told him he did. Idk anymore

1:20:40 Lauren you didn’t fail us, You gave us way more information on the days testimony than we have access too. Thank you for the phenomenal work you’re doing. 👌 👏

You’re doing great ! I felt like you provided great info to all of us . I’m hard of hearing so I wouldn’t have caught what was said if I was in the courtroom myself .. Great job don’t sweat it . I literally go through life trying to catch what’s being said by everyone around me to catch the “vibe” or mood . I wish I had you in my everyday life. When you pause or correct yourself it makes it feel more “real” or like my own thoughts vs.a computer generated narrator.❤️

About the conversation on mental self care- I find that almost laughable when a person is in solitary confinement.
