Kathy to Richard Allen: 'Tell the Truth'

IMPORTANT UPDATE - During the testimony of Warden John Galipeau regarding the multiple confessions Allen had made to the Warden, and the phone call between Rick and Kathy Allen, Prosecutor Nick McLeland brought up the discussion between the couple and discussed Rick's spouse telling him to "tell the truth" during that phone call.

Defense counsel Brad Rozzi immediately asked if he could approach the bench of Judge Frances C. Gull. Andrew Baldwin (also defense counsel), Rozzi and McLeland all went forward. After a few minutes they went back to their tables. At that time, Prosecutor McLeland went into a description of the first tablet and what Allen had done when angry - he broke the tablet. Warden Galipeau stated that he had a discussion with Allen regarding his behavior, and he agreed that he would give him a new tablet at no cost in exchange for behaving better.
