Knee compression sleeves will also give the knees some compression during the exercises to help the healing process.

The first exercise to help strengthen the knee is a short arc quad (SAQ), this is a great way to get started without doing to much to the knee. It helps strengthen the quad muscles with extend or straighten the knee.

The next knee strengthening exercises are a bridging series including a regular bridge, bridging with a band, and bridging squeezing into a ball. These all are great for the hamstrings, glutes, and surrounding muscles of the knee and hips.

Then you will do a long arc quad (LAQ), this is like the SAQ, but it is a longer arch with works the quad muscles in a bigger range of motion.

The final two exercises for the knee are a squat and a squat with a band. Squats do a great job of strengthen all of the lower leg muscles including hamstrings, quads, glutes, hip flexors, and others.

Wow!. I started doing these exercises last Wednesday 8 days ago. My knee kept giving away and it felt like it was bare bone with no muscle. About two days ago the problem started easing. I was walking so as not to let my knee go again and thinking of those people who have to have metal knee replacements. Yesterday I could feel it really getting better but was still a bit tentative. Today there is no pain at all and I have full use of the knee. It has been fully tested by putting a fence up using sledge hammers and things. I was praying about it but God expect us to do our bit which I did with Dr Jo's guidance. Thank you Thankyou Thankyou. It is great to have no restrictions again. I will still do the exercises as they really worked and I want to keep it that way.

I have runners knee so i was looking for some knee strengthening excerises. On day 3 and already feeling the benefits of these excersises, the joint feels a lot better already. Will definately keep going with these daily. Thank you!

Great exercise! I tore my ACL 17 years ago. All these years both my knees started to hurt. I had a Xray too make sure I didn't tear my knee again, before I started exercising.

Could you make a video all about crackling knees please? Including all possible causes & any dietary supplementation or other meds / interventions available along with your recommended exercises? (No pain has ever accompanied my years worth of grinding & cracking. Yet I do want to prevent that!) Thank you so much for your help :)

I have had knee pain for 9 months! I slipped and fell on ice and I had physical therapy for a few weeks, it was too expensive to continue. I tried anti-inflammatory diet and pretty much gave up on relief from pain. I've been doing these exercises everyday for almost 3 weeks and for the first time, I see the light at the end of the tunnel! I have also been doing the knee pain relief stretches on your channel.
