They are adding malicious app definitions, the purpose is to delete the many optimizing scripts they don't like.

It is actually slower.
The only thing that is fast is closing ALL my open explorer windows. It just closes them ALL at least 3 times a week.

even so, windows in general is slow to update, I use also Linux, and the difference is huge (I mean updates), even downloading 2GB compressed and uncompress to change 4 to 6 GB files, is so fast... on windows a feature update is a drag, so N% of that seems still slow... but... any improvement is welcome

Windows 11 24H2 has major bugs in mounting iso. It hangs the entire file explorer. They should released it later.

I found windows 11 24h2 being slower than 23h2 in performance.

24H2 was much slower than 23H2 for me, I had to roll back to 23H2 it was so bad. Your mileage may vary though.
