I made a drive image update before installing this 24H2 update today. My performance is worse with the update so I have gone back to the image I made and have stopped future updates except the security ones. My system is a 5800x3D with RTX4080 Super.

Thanks! I'm on Windows 10 and wanted to dual boot Windows 11 so I can "kick the tires" and was thinking about 24H2. I have Intel. Not going with 24H2, 23H2 good enough!

I want to see if there is performance gain on lower Ryzen series but haven't found any videos. I have a GPD Win4 with a Ryzen 6800u. If that gets a performance boost then it will be amazing. I already felt a drop in performance when Cyberpunk 2.1 update came out. Would be great to at least get on par with the performance I had before. I'm not expected any difference but I at least hope things won't get worse.

I have decent hardware GTX 1650 intel i5 9300H and 512GB of SSD and 16 gib of ram
but why windows 11 animation sucks in my laptop its glitchy and laggy all the time when I press the windows button it open the menu bar with laggy animation

please tell me how can I solve this issue windows 11 sometimes feels annoying to me

Hello thak you so much. for real i become missing win 7 it is the best. many users in the world doesn't have that financial power to buy the most new hardware. but even if we buy, ms products and new win become more frustrated and by time we get more tired and hate to win increases. for real after learning linux if i find good android os with a recent android version 12 or 13 that support running nvidia dedicated gpu and i have in android what replaces ms office products i will definintly change to it

Well I got an AMD rig with a Sapphire Nitro + Vapor X 24GB 7900xtx and a 7950x cpu with 64GB 6400mhz ram with a DARK POWER PRO 13
1600W psu, and 10TB HDD and 4TB SSD, I am currently backing up my files, Bout to install 24H2, Wish me luck. I hope it does better, been experiencing stutters on COD and several other games.

I am downgrading to 23h2 but I am just upgrading with ghost specter bcuz the 24h2 I have the worst performance on 24h2 cpu is at base speed and not going over 2ghz while my max is 4.4ghz and max I get is 3.30ghz, for only for short time when restarted though so Ima see if anything changes in ghost Spectre or i will just update to stable, like wind hawk and even the 7stp gui doesn't work
