Thank you so much for the information. It means a alot. I fell worry about my lower back and hips after do deadlift, the fact that it's a soreness not a pain, make me calm now

Pain in my left shoulder brought me here. I felt it on Thursday when i was swinging my hand outward, but i still persisted to pump iron on both thursday and Friday. It wasn't until Saturday that it just became progressively worse, that i realised it might be more than just soreness.
Thankfully i found this video today, Tuesday after skipping workout on Saturday and Monday. I was even wondering if i was doing my body a disservice by lapsing back into laziness.
The problem is, just how long this injury will persist...

I'm new o deadlift and i get a aching feeling similar to soreness in the lower back every time I do it. It last for 1 to 2hours, I thought it would go away with time but it is taking too long even though I decreased the weight, I guess I'm doing it wrong because of lack of mobility in the hamstrings.

so i’ve been sore in my lower back from deadlift for 9 months so i guess it’s considered an injury due to it not getting progressively better?

What about an injury being instant and soreness being delayed?

Exactly the information I needed. Started adding deadlifts to my routine recently and quickly became comfortable enough to try up to 100kg. I'm super obsessed with form in my whole routine (even cardio on the bikes) so when felt some discomfort in new spots in my back for a couple of days after I was concerned that maybe I'd gone too far too soon. Confidence has been restored, thanks so much guys 🦾
