I do suffer from hypochondriasis and id tell you, it sucks so bad. Last week i manage to overcome that one symptom that keeps me thinking about cancer. Now, a back pain that keeps me thinking about kidney disease.

I felt relieved and relaxed when you said that most likely not a kidney disease when you apply heat it and pain will just disappear. I just put a warm compress on my lower back and it will disapper. I dont feel any pain going in the CR or when drinking a lot of water.

I have a sendentary lifestyle because of the kind of job i have but im exercising now more than ever because it really helps with my way of thinking. All pain and symptoms just go away when im exercising but when im alone and quiet that's when all the symptoms starts creeping in my brain and starts catastrophizing.

My pain is coming from the left side but it only hurts when I press on the area right below my rib cage not when I move from side to side

Bent down to tie my shoes and presumably pulled my Lat muscle, but as someone with occasional kidney pain I was half convinced it wasn’t muscular. I find when I’m stressing that I often get a burning sensation in the general location of my kidney. I think it’s common how we discount the effects of stress on our organs.
