My late husband really got that. He believed I was the smartest person in the world and that made me want to keep learning more and more.
One day he was telling a group of friends that he was near genius and he got their attention. Then he put his arm around my waist and added, "As long as I'm next to her." That was just one of his funniest and sweetest compliments. 😉
