I live on this all summer. Super hardy plant and just keeps going. Many ways to cook it. I boil then move to a large teflon pan and add stuff. Sometimes I add a bit of pasta. Fresh tomato's. Yellow squash. Shrimps, Meatballs. Very versatile.

I love simple recipes for greens. They dont have much of a taste but the texture is nice to chew.

I grew up eating SC with bacon grease, sugar with a splash of apple cider vinegar

Top it with a bit of diced preserved lemon and grated parmesan cheese. Both work really well with chard.

I got to hand it to you, this is the very best Swiss chard I have ever made and I am a fan! The addition of the onion and the chicken broth make it off the charts delicious! Thank you so much.

I'm a return viewer. I hadn't cooked chard in quite a while and your video was my guide back then. I'm cooking it tonight and have vowed to do so much more often! Love how your dad is synced in...Sweet...

This was great! Thanks for sharing. This was the first recipe I found with the addition of the broth and it didn’t disappoint! I used some leftover homemade veggie broth.

found a whole lot of homegrown chard in my garden left from previous tenants. Cooked chard for the first time using this recipe, and OH MY so delicious. Hot tip - if youre vegan, use vege stock and season with 'chicken' salt (the australian's know that im talking about)

With chard and most of my greens, when I sautee my onion, I'll render down some chopped bacon or salt pork. Then, instead of broth, I'll use a third of a cup of apple cider vinegar and some Cajun spice. 🤤🤤🤤

I like to add a teaspoon of teriyaki sauce and serve over rice or baked cubed tofu.

A 'little' bit of cider vinegar will seriously help reduce any bitterness, and brings out even more flavor. Thanks the vid Jerry! 😋
