Dr. Gupta, I came back to say that I just went over my most recent thyroid test results with my endocrinologist yesterday and my anti-TPO antibodies are down 30% since starting vitamin D two months ago! My vitamin D levels have gone from 10 ng/ml to 40 ng/ml! My endocrinologist recommend I aim for 60 - 90 ng/ml so I will continue supplementing and raising! I am feeling so much better since starting vitamin D two months ago. I also started iron as my ferritin was 9! Along with the autoimmune protocol diet I am feeling better than I have in YEARS. All thanks to your videos.

My endocrinologist has been helpful too but I am now going to search for a functional medicine doctor as I now see the importance of having a functional medicine doctor on your health care team! So grateful to you, you just don't know, your the information from your videos have changed my life! I live in Chicago and have dark skin so my vitamin D levels were very deficient and I was unaware of it and unaware of the importance of vitamin D to thyroid. I was in a bad Hashi flare when I saw your video and had my vitamin D checked and started vitamin D and after just three weeks my flare subsided! My flares usually last MONTHS! Just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please please keep these videos coming. People like me need this info.
