Stronger bones and stronger muscles 💪🏽

Research continues to show that bones need impact in order to get stronger ☝🏽

But…if you have osteoarthritis, impact may not feel wonderful right now. It needs to be worked up to.

This is a great movement to help introduce a little bit of impact so you can get more bang for your buck 🙌🏼

The stomp squat can even be fun 😍

Use your arms if needed at first. If you experience significant pain when trying, dial back the intensity.

⚠️⚠️ You must first master simply standing up and sitting down before adding any difficulty with the stomp. Raise the seating surface if needed ⚠️⚠️

Try a few at first and experiment with how it feels for you 👀

Then you can increase the repetitions as you feel more confident ✅

Thank you for sharing this. I look forward to seeing more of your videos. I really need help with strengthening after being in bed past 6 years and am now up and moving in this last 6 months. But it is very painful and very hard. Will try any recommendations you have for this. Thanks😊❤
